Condolences for Carolyn M. Tornstrom

Carolyn taught me the fine art of elegance, grace, and warmth with others. As relocating from La Crosse, WI she made a big difference through her kindness when settling here. I truly enjoyed serving her as a cashier at "Quillin's" and around town. She will always be a guiding force in living an exceptional life and making small "holy moments" with others like she did all the time. My sympathies.

So many fond memories of "going to Caledonia".The wonderful hosting of family gatherings there. The beautiful piano playing, singing, and beagle serenading. Carolyn was so welcoming, even to her young nieces and nephews. Her giving will continue in many others. Blessings and love to you cousins!

My deepest sympathy to the Tornstrom family . I have many memories of my 8 years of piano lessons with your mom . I just pulled out my Canon in D with her name on it and played it in her memory . Sincerely , Heidi Prentice

So sorry to hear of Carolyn’s passing. I was just one of her many piano students. What a wonderful woman who was such a positive influence to so many of us. May she rest in peace.

Carolyn help foster my lifelong love of music and musical preformance. She was the best piano teacher I ever had and through her guidance I got to preform with the other top MN pianists in Minneapolis. She was tough but so patient. She will be greatly missed. My hugs and thoughts are with her whole family and friends.

Tornstrom family: so sorry to hear of Carolyn’s passing. But she is now at peace with Ron. What a wonderful person who leaves behind a huge legacy! Loved her music all the years in & out of the church! Miss her playing the organ in Meth church. RIP wonderful woman!
