Carrie L. "Care Bear" Clements, 32, of Mindoro, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 21, 2011.
She was born October 3, 1978, in La Crosse to Dennis and Kim (Olson) Clements.  Carrie was a 1997 graduate of Melrose-Mindoro High School, where she participated in volleyball, cheerleading, and band.  She then furthered her education at WWTC in La Crosse.  Some of Carrie's favorite pastimes included camping, and doing word searches and crafts, such as scrapbooking and cross-stitch.  Her greatest joy in life were her children.  Carrie enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved and cared for deeply.  She will always be remembered for her bouncy personality and especially her smile.
Survivors include her three children, Preston (10) and Parker (8) Otto and their father, Jared Otto, and Kiara Clements (2); Carrie's father, Dennis (Lois) Clements of Bangor; her mother, Kim (Mike) Page of Melrose; four sisters, Sommer Clements (Stephen Butler) of La Crosse, Jamie Clements (fiance, Joe Waughtal) of Melrose, Megan Olson (Douglas Valiente) of St. Paul, Minn., and Morgan Olson (Chase Miller) of Melrose; her nieces and nephews, Daisha Clements and Jaden Butler, Cooper Subjek, Douglas "Alex" Valiente, and Loghan Page; her paternal grandparents, Norbert (Margaret) Clements of Bangor and Norman (Bernice) Brueggen of Cashton; her maternal grandparents, Spencer "Sam" (Shirley) Olson of Mindoro and Darlene Page of Onalaska; her Godparents, Spencer "Butch" Olson and Kathy Kolterman; her special friend, Bernard "Bernie" Williams; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by three cousins, TJ Storandt, Barbie Kolterman, and Christopher Clements; her aunt, Barbara Clements; her great-grandparents; her grandfather, John Page; and her dog, Tina.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 26, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Mindoro Lutheran Church, W3879 CTH DE.  Pastor Janet Wollam will officiate.  Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery.  Friends may call at Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Home, (Jostad Chapel), 121 N. Youlon Street, West Salem, on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and also at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in order to establish an education fund for Carrie's children.  On-line condolences may be sent at
