Obituary for Steven K. Noblitt

Steven K. "Steve" Noblitt
Steven K. "Steve" Noblitt, 48, of Onalaska, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010, at his home.
He was born September 11, 1962, in Manhattan, Kan., to David and Jean (Harrold) Noblitt. Steve attended Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan., graduating in 1985 with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science and a minor in Theatre. He then attended Mankato State University and in 1991 obtained his Master's Degree in an Independent Study. Steve loved music and all theatrical works and even portrayed 1860's baseball through reenactments. He especially enjoyed volunteering and would take every opportunity to volunteer wherever he could. Steve will be remembered as a true gentleman who was compassionate and a loving father.
Survivors include  his son, Jacob Noblitt; his former wife, Diane; his loving friend, Brenda Hammersley; his mother, Jean Noblitt; three brothers, Christopher, Jeffery, and Patrick Noblitt; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his father.
In accordance with Steve's wishes, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1215 Redwood St. Onalaska. There will be no burial. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
