Obituary for Eleanor L. (Anderson) Paremski

Eleanor Louise (Anderson) Paremski of LaCrosse, formally of Three Lakes, Wis., died Tuesday, January 2, 2018. She was 87 years old. Eleanor was born September 25, 1930, to Louis and Annette “Nettie” Anderson in Gagen, Wis. She was raised in Three Lakes where she married her husband Joseph Paremski and relocated to LaCrosse. Eleanor had worked at the Rubber Mills, Hillview Home, Gifted Hands, and also for many area restaurants as a cook. She was a member of the Thomas Rooney VFW Post 1530 Ladies Auxiliary of LaCrosse. Eleanor enjoyed coloring, gardening, and putting puzzles together in her spare time. She loved to watch and listen to the birds, especially the cardinals. Eleanor was a devoted Packer fan. Eleanor is survived by her sons, James P. (Linda) Paremski of La Crosse, Michael E. (Anne) Paremski of Holmen, Thomas L. Paremski, and Daniel E. Paremski of La Crosse; two daughters, JoDeen Kobishop (Richard Exe) of Winona, Minn, and Sandra J. (James) Noble of West Salem, brother, Robert (Gloria) Anderson of West Salem, nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Paremski; one grandson, Joseph Paremski; two brothers, Louis (Deanna) Anderson and John (Betty) Anderson; and two sisters, Margaret (Eugene) Dziewiontkoski and Constance (Ben) Farvour (George Godleski). Private family services will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in La Crosse. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Homes and Crematory, Woodruff Chapel, La Crosse, is assisting the family with arrangements.
