Condolences for

Jill, Joe, Sally and Family, My heart goes out to all of you today as you celebrate the life of your Mom/Grandma/Talu. Once upon a time, our two families spent many wonderful holidays, celebrations and memories together. Talu's zest for life and living it well, will always be remembered in my heart. I smile when I think of her. Know that she touched many lives in good ways and will be remembered for them. If she and Grandpa aren't rolling the dice together yet, they will be... God Bless, Tammy

On behalf of the Ladies Golf Association in Sparta I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Talu. Talu was a long time member of our club and we always enjoyed her smile. I personally never had the pleasure and honor to golf with Talu, but I know many of our past members shared playing time with her in the morning group. I know I speak for all of those ladies when I say that she was a sparkplug, and a pure joy to be around. May she rest in peace and find some "playing time" on the golf course in heaven. Rita Forbes, President, Sparta Ladies Golf Association.

Jill- it is hard to believe we won't see our most dedicated fan sitting at our volleyball games/tourneys. 30 years of sports together and it was a given Talu would be there cheering the team on. Sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.

Dearest Alettie ~ I do not have your address and wanted to express my deepest love for you and your grandma, Talu. I'm in Seattle and will not be able to attend. I'm so very sorry, I am trying to send a warm hug and kisses to you! I wrote how much your grandma meant to me over the years in a previous post so I hope you and your mom, Sally, will read it. I always kept up with your happenings thru Sally at the VFW every Sunday evening, for dinner on the deck, after golfing. All my very best to you. Much love, always Mary Hyde

To all her dear family & Ray~ I was so saddened to read of Tulu's passing. She was such a wonderful gal and friend. I remember our many golfing outings that were full of many laughs and always good times. Tulu was so upbeat and always had a smile and a hug when we met! I first met "Delores" as a young college student doing my early Fall college education prep work at Lawrence Lawson...she became a mentor for me there. Her enthusiam and love of children was so evident and contagious!! I only was there a brief time before I returned to college in River Falls. Little did I know I'd return and teach in Sparta. We saw each other often. Then I met her grand daughter at Cottage Grove Nursery one summer.I was not surprised when I discovered she was her grand daughter, as she was so full of life like her grandma! Ray was always so friendly whenever we'd meet at the golf course and I could tell would take great care of Talu! Ray, my deepest feelings for your huge loss. I wish I could attend in person but, I'm in Seattle visitng my 2 grand babies. Know my prayers, hugs and love are for sent for all of you! Our Love, Mary & Bill Hyde

To all her family and friend Ray, I loved Aunt Talu, she was always laughing. She let me come to that one room school near my parents house before I was old enough to attend. She was a great teacher. Lots of fond memories.
