Condolences for

We were very saddened to hear of Walter's passing last week. You have our deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. We always enjoyed visiting your family on the farm and your Dad was always so jovial and full of fun. He was always a joy to talk to. He was blessed with a long full life and I'm sure will be missed a great deal.

I just read of your Dad's passing in the Argus and want to extend my sincere sympathy on your loss. Walter was a very special friend of my parents, Frank and Mabel Haar, and they spent many memorable times together. He is among the many pleasant memories I have of my roots in Eitzen and Caledonia. My deepest sympathy to you and your families. LaVonne Haar Kennealy

Wish I could be there Wednesday to attend Uncle Walter's funeral, especially since he is the last of that generation of Benekes. Harry had spinal surgery two weeks ago and I am at the V.A. Medical Center with him every moment I can take off work to be with him. Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your Dad. Harry and Donna Teff

Ann and Family, I saw your Dad in Spring Grove this summer at music in the park and he looked great for a man of 88! Fond memories of the Houston County Fair and 4-H days are going through my head. My thoughts are with you during these dark days. "Hang on to the memories, they can't take them away"! Hugs to all!

Dear Gary, Garnet, and Ann, You have my deepest sympathies on the passing of your father. He lived a long and wonderful life. He probably enjoyed all the time he got spend with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As I was reading the obituary, it reminded me of the times we all got together on the farm as young kids. Those were wonderful times. Anita, Ken and I now all live together in Henderson, Nevada. After so many years of living far away we are now very close. Again I am sorry for your lose. Love John Larson
