Condolences for

I was blessed to work with Helen at LWM but it was more than just work it was a everyday visit with a person that has a place in my heart that can never be taken. Helen was a great lady with a remarkable touch. She will be missed dearly. I could always depend on Helen to give the BEST hugs that would take all my problems away. (you girls arent that bad at them either)She was so caring and always made me feel like more then just an aide whenever I would go into her room. We would just visit and catch up on weekly events. She often would put her call light on and just want to talk to me if she knew I was working on her hallway:) Helen knew I loved cows and one night suprised me with a cow placemat from supper with a note on the back that simply read "Your a sweetheart with a great smile. I love you-Helen Paris" I have this displayed in my home and wouldnt give it up for the world. To anyone else it may seem like just a small token of appreciation but to me it is a nice gesture with a strong meaning and I catch myself often looking at it and smiling. Her sweet personality also came with treats and if i didnt put on weight I would be suprised by all the chocolate that she said i "must have". Her family has become like a second family to me and I hope to still see you on some Saturdays even if only for one hug. I love you Helen and miss you. One more snip it...on the day Helen passed it had been raining all day until that time when the sun came out, it felt to me like the warmth of the sun was one last hug from a lady that I will forever love. Until we meet again Helen, I love you...

My sympathy to the family of Helen, we shared many visits and conversations together, talking often of her growing up in the Caledonia area and how she was confirmed with my Mom, Malita Diersen. May the many wonderful memories bring you comfort. God Bless.

She live a long wonderful life that was filled with lots of love and an amazing family. She will be missed by many. Our condolences to the family.
