My condolences to the family. I worked with Gene for about 2 years at C-FC but knew him from Bangor. What a kind and generous soul. He was devoted to his family AND fishing. He sure loved a good joke and had a great sense of humor. May he rest in peace.

We had the great pleasure of meeting and getting to know Gene a bit better through his absolutely wonderful family - all of whom exude warmth, ready smiles and great humor. We extend our deepest sympathy and wish you peace and joy beyond the grief as you share memories of Gene's remarkable life in the days to come.

We as a couple have many good memories of all the Great Class Of 58 Reunions that Gene organized & really appreciated all you both did. The spouses learned a lot about all the fun the class had & how close they were. Hopefully we can pick up the torch & keep them going. Our thoughts & prayers are with your family.

Gene was principal at Kee high when I attended high school. Due to the closing of St George many of us cont our education at Kee High. I spent alot of time in his office working on projects and his devotion to work through the merger was awesome. He was very caring and wanted the best for all the students. He was a wonderful mentor. May he rest in piece 🙏🙏

Gene had such a wry sense of humor; witty, corny, and smart. Such a great deep voice and kind smile and eyes. He sure did love his family and took pride in their every accomplishments. I remember the story that when the kids were growing up he just had to 'snap' his fingers, and I guess it resounded. The legacy left by Gene impacts the many, many lives of those he connected with as an educator, community member, sportsman, colleague and friend. Cheers to, Gene, it's 5 o'clock somewhere and I raise my glass to you. You will be so missed.
