My childhood friend, we had recently reconnected through facebook with so much excitement! We were looking forward to our high school class reunion in just a few weeks. I am so saddened to learn of your passing! My prayers are with your beautiful family! I have enjoyed getting to "know" them through your photos over the past months. I want them to know what a special friend you were to me. I will miss you greatly.

Jonie had a way of making everyone laugh. Definately a pleasure to be around providing you didn't have a weak bladder. Jonie was a woman full of love and life. I am very blessed to have known her and will never forget her.

JONIE WAS A VERY KIND HEARTED, WARM, LOVING, AND GENUINLY GOOD LADY. ALWAYS CHATTED WITH ME AND WAS EASY TO BE FRIENDS WITH. ALTHOUGH WE DIDNT KNOW EACH OTHER LONG, I WAS HONORED TO CALL HER FRIEND.. Jonie was the most caring, loving, beautiful, smart, and amazing woman I've ever met. she had a genuine heart of gold. she was a mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and a daughter... she will be greatly missed by many people. In the last year she has been my best friend and mother. she will always be in my heart and mind. walmart, olive garden, OCB, and every other place ive ever been with her will never be the same again... Mama, you have been robbed of the best years of your life. Our lives will never be the same again. We miss you so much and want you back. Please watch over all of us and be our guardian angel.
