What I Learned from Uncle Ken... Summer walks through rolling hillsides around Black Hammer, MN visiting old family farmsteads, graveyards of family members, small towns, Veterans Memorials, and lots of stories told about "our people" all woven into our family history. If not for Uncle Ken, Aunt Jan and their strong family values, and dedication, this history about "our roots" would have gone silent. Thank you both! Love you forever!

We were military brats, raised around the US and overseas, so living in one spot was rare. We looked forward to our summer visits with Aunt Jan & Uncle Ken & all our cousins so we could just be kids instead of travelers. Uncle Ken believed kids should play outdoors, so it was "kick the can", baseball and swimming in the summer, or snow adventures in winter. He taught us how to be kids, give hugs, and be happy. Thank you Uncle Ken!

Vicky, I am so sorry about your loss of your dad. Mine, if alive would be the same age, you were born at his young age, my dad at 30 for myself. It's hard to see your father that way but we know where they are. Hanging out in heaven😁😁

Kenney will always hold a special place in my heart. He was an amazing wonderful man and always wore a great big smile. I loved watching him watch a game on TV, he was more entertaining then the game was for me. Thank you for loving us, we will miss you, Love Chris and David.
