Condolences for

My sincere condolences on behalf of the Irene Johnson family. I last spoke with Esther after my mother (Esther's cousin), Irene Johnson, passed away in June 2014. While mom and Esther spoke over the phone in their later years, I hadn't talked to Esther for many years. It was so nice to hear her voice again. It is one I remember well from when I was young and mom used to take us girls over to Esther's to visit. Mom and Esther were not only related, but were friends for most of their lives. I remember Esther welcoming us warmly into her home many times. She always had a smile for us, and I remember her with fondness in my heart. I live in the Twin Cities now, and I'm sorry that I won't be able to make it to the prayer service in Durand, but will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
