Dorothy, I just wanted to send you a note to let you know that I am thinking of you and the boys. I am sure that this is a difficult time for you. Marv and you are both special people. I have many happy memories of times spent with you guys. Marv always had a smile on his face! All the times we spent at campouts and the beach...such fun! I know the sweet memories of him will live on forever in those whose lives he has touched. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Aunt Dorothy, Scott, and Kevin, We are all so sorry for your loss. Last weekend the family and I prayed and shared our memories and thoughts of Uncle Marvin. Kindhearted, funny, smart, always happy and caring were the words that came to mind to describe our beloved brother and uncle. Although Mom's memory is not always the best, she fondly recalled the great times you all shared camping each summer and when Marvin stayed with Mom & Dad when he attended MSOE. Please know how sorry we are that we cannot attend the funeral, especially Mom. We all feel blessed to have had Marvin in our lives. His legacy will live on in the wonderful memories he gave us. Much love to all of you.

Sending Sympathy to your whole family. Sorry to hear about his passing. I met Marvin in Chaseburg playing euchre. What a great guy he was and glad I got to meet him for a short period of time. We had great visits together. Was a sharp card player. I grew up in Chaseburg, and not living in Coon Valley.

Dorothy, Scott and Kevin, I am so sorry for your loss. I have known your husband/dad for a long time. I remember babysitting for you and enjoying your dad's humor. I also got to work with him at Wichelt Imports. He will surely be missed. His family was so important to him. So I am sure you have many fond memories. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
