I had known Edna since I was a little girl. She was a very kind person who truly loved her family. May she forever dance with the angels.

My Great Aunt Edna. I remember meeting Edna, 20 years ago, at my 16th birthday, at Ruth and Verdell "Duke" Holdorf's house in Denver. We were celebrating the 50 year anniversary for Ruth and Verdell. Two years later I married Ingrid and joined the Navy. Our favorite memory. Ingrid never met Edna in person but she was one of her favorite relatives of mine. Edna sent typewriter written letters: Thank you letters, Christmas letters, and thank you letters for sending Christmas letters to her. Most of these letters were typed without errors. Only a few letters had one or two mistakes. On a typewriter. Who can plan their letters that well? I think of Edna and her typewriter letters every time I print and scan together. Edna must have planned her life as well as she planned her letters how many of us will live long enough to be on a Smuckers jar? "Victory in Jesus"

Reading Aunt Edna's obituary reminds one of the far reaching impact of her life upon so many others. What an amazing woman and legacy of kindness and grace. Our condolences to family and friends. We are all so fortunate to have been touched by her life.

My Aunt Edna was a wonderful woman. I remember she and her husband, Norbert, were so gracious to me when I came from Colorado for a visit to their dairy farm (with my Mom, her sister) as a teenager. Norbert showed me around the farm, and took me to a cattle auction. Knowing how much I loved horses, Edna drove me around the countryside and showed me Secretariat the racehorse's farm (from the road). She was always so thoughtful. I was glad that I got to see her just a few years ago when she came to Colorado. I admired her. Because they were Christians, we can be comforted in knowing that their souls will be resurrected and reunited with their bodies when Christ returns.
