Thinking of you all during this difficult time. What a wonderful woman Mildred was and I am so happy that our family had the chance to get to know her. Our family will miss her dearly!

I always remember Mildred and Albert had a special gift - a big smile. They were practical jokers and the smile might even be a bit mischievous. When I was in the school lunch line, Mildred always made sure that I had a plate full of a lunch that she had helped prepare. Our family grew up on the Meyer homestead (Portland Prairie) after they moved to Caledonia, so we hold a special place in our hearts for them.
