Let us help get you started

Condolences for

Very sorry to have just heard about the passing of Paul Lake (Jerry Anderson). I very much enjoyed working with Paul Lake at WLCX back in the late 60's. I know he will be missed and I am very sorry for your loss. Dick Allen

I will never forget Jerry and Norbert. Erv Guy and I enjoyed his music so much at Schmittys. He helped so many people and cared so much. I live in Belen, New Mexico now, but do have fond memories of La Crosse that will stay with me until I pass.

I only knew Jerry for a short time, as he frequented Schmidty's now and again and we had some very good conversations. What a peaceful, caring gentleman. I pray he is enjoying the eternal peace in his heavenly home.

To Jerry's family: So sorry for your loss. Jerry was such a fun guy and so good at the keyboard, and singing at the L&M, really had fun times with him there. Sure will miss him and so sorry I could not be at the funeral today. Take care, Love, Kathy

Apple Annies extend their deepest sympathies to Jerry's family and friends. Jerry was our accompanist on the Annie float for many years providing Annies with wonderful memories and good times. We loved him!

Jerry's departure from this world leaves a huge void here in the La Crosse area, one that will not be filled. He was one of a kind; one of the hardest working people I have ever met, and a man full of ideas and talents. There just weren't enough hours in the day for him! It was a pleasure to meet him and know him as the kind, fun loving man he was. God bless you, Jerry; you will be missed.

Our deepest sympathies to the family. We go back to the old WCOW days of 1965! "Paul Lake" was our best man in our wedding and my best friend when in Sparta. "Paul" was also our son's godparent and we named him Paul! I'll never forget driving around the countryside of the Coulee Region and (me) being as lost as a rubber ball in high weeds. What fun days! When we meet again, old friend, would you play "Alley Cat" for me one more time? God Bless.

Jerry and I worked together for a few years in radio both at WCOW and WLCX. He was a person you could always depend on to do his job and be creative in the doing of it. He was my "go-to" guy for many projects. He was extremely talented and from time to time when I came back to visit relatives in La Crosse, I would stop in where he was playing his music. He will be greatly missed by his public and his family.

Jerry is now entertaining God and the Angels in Heaven. A witty entertainer with a soft voice and a strong loving heart who made many people happy. His keyboard performances will be missed by all. He is now leading the band above.

Of all the gin joints in all the world, you had to walk into the ones we frequented. It was great being there with you. I seem to remember New Years Eve after New Years eve at Silverdale., Thanks for the Memory Jerry. Here's To You!
