Charlie was a life long family friend. He and my father as well as older brother LeRoy JR spent many hours traveling together following Dick Trickle around Wisconsin. Charlie and my father had many annual trips to Daytona to watch the Nascar races. Charlie you will truly be missed.

Sorry to hear of Charlies death. Charlie and I went to high school together. We shared some good times fishing, playing football, and the occasional adult beverages. Peace be with you and your family. Duane

Charlie, Best friend from my youth, we grew up together on Wilson street. playing ball there and building forts Summer and Winter. tramping in the woods across the street, and in the park climbing trees and having fun for hours and hours. Are families moved from there to houses on 9th Street. We had other freinds there, Dick Bell, Bill Riordan, Bob Wavra, Bob Shuda. All within a very small area on the street. You Dick and I played basketball a lot at Dicks. I remember your Dad driving us to School on those very cold mornings when he was not working those days. I remember being at your house lots of times and your Mom and my Mom were very good friends. they got together often to have coffee and conversations. You were everyone's friend and you moved back home after your time in the Army. You played on the ball leagues and had a great deal of friends. We did get together a few times when I came back to Ona on leave from the Marine Corps. I enjoyed those get togethers a great deal. I will miss are time together. I will miss you my Friend.
