We have the pleasure of knowing your wonderful family and treasure all the times we spent talking and laughing with your mom (and your dad). We immediately felt the love and warmth you all share and felt like part of the family. We still laugh about the carpet "barrowing" in Chicago and I have yet to have as much fun as we had at the church sale. The kids still talk about hanging out in the camper on the back of your dad's truck. Your mom and I talked alot that day and I got to hear first hand how proud she was of all of you and every word she spoke was full of the love she had for you. For awhile I was intrusted with watching over Jen and the girls for her while we were all stationed in Chicago and Sven was away. I would call and let her know all was good and we talked alot about that and different things. She was a special lady as I'm sure you all know and we will cherish our memories and will miss her dearly. The miles are keeping us from physically being there with you all, but you will and always will be in our hearts and prayers. We love you and are so sorry for your loss.

Brian and Christy and the extended family: We send you our condolences. We are thinking of you. We would be there on Saturday but our daughter Susannah graduates the day before from her college in Chicago. We hope to see you sometime. (We need to get Christy to autograph her book for us.)
