On behalf of the La Crosse Logan Alumni Association we would like to extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to you and yours on the passing of a former Ranger. Please be assured that our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

we are so sorry to hear of bobs passing. I know how much Grandpa Bob meant to James and Kelsey. Cheri and I would like to extend our condolences to the entire Briggs family and to celebrate Bobs life we have made a memorial donation in Bobs name to the Gundersen cancer center.

We wanted to share our condolences with Bob’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

I was the tirst child to have heart surgery in LaCrosse. Bob Briggs was my nurse. He was a major part in my surgery and recovery. Because heart surgery was in its infancy, Bob was with me constantly staying countless nights. I remember laying on a bed of ice because they had to freeze my body before surgery. I was crying because I was so cold. He stayed with me the whole time. He played a major part of Cardiovascular infancy. Dr. Eric Gundersen performed my surgery fresh out of residency. Soon after I was little miss heart fund and Bob took me to the events to raise money for the Heart Assocossiation. Thank You Bob Briggs for being part of saving my life!!! RIP😇❤️

Bob was a wonderful man and a good soldier. He leaves a memory of outstanding service to the United States Army and to his fellow soldiers. It was an honor to serve with him. Wallen Capper, Colonel United States Army

Bob was a pioneer at Gundersen Lutheran, but he was also a powerful leader and a friend of everyone he worked with.

Jenna and Family, We want to extend our condolences prior to Saturday. We all have obligations out of town, and are unable to attend the memorial service Saturday. Unfortunate we will not be able to pay our respects in person. Please expect a card with a memorial in Bob's name in the mail. Oh Jeana I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's passing.My heart is so sad for you and your family.Please know that I am thinking of you and sending hugs and prayers for comfort and peace. So very sorry to read of Bob's passing as I'm checking out La Crosse news from New Zealand.. I was lan O.R. nurse at Gundersen and always loved working with Bob. I was also in army reserves with him. He was fun and liked by everyone and will be missed by so many. Sending my sympathy and prayers for comfort and peace for the family.

Always the gentleman, never ever remember him raising his voice. Bob rode to work with me for a couple of years in the early 80’s when I first started work in the OR. I will always remember him as a role model. It was a privilege to have known Bob.

Jeana, Bob will be such a huge loss, his wonderful smile has been such a hallmark of Good Shepherd and I so much admired his wonderful work in your beautiful flower gardens. May you be sustained through God’s strength.
