My sympathy to all of Ruth's family. I am a friend of Ruth's through Mary Mother of the Church Parish and her presence in our parish family will be very much missed. I could relate to Fr. Konopa's homily at her mass today because it was "so Ruth!" as I knew her. In spite of her age and health challenges, her spirit never dimmed and she continued to be young at heart and involved with daily Mass, rosary, first Thursday of the month coffees after Mass, and many trips to Mac Donalds for breakfast and to connect with her many friends there. I guess you all know how much she loved you and how proud she was of all of you. How wonderful that she was able to attend the recent family wedding and, yes, she shared that joy with us. May her goodness continue to live on in each of you. God Bless!
