To live in the hearts and minds of those we leave behind

Let us help get you started

Condolences for

I want to convey my dearest, deepest sympathies to Renee's wonderful, caring and compassionate family. I didn't have the honor to meet her husband and 2 girls. All I know is they were and are very fortunate to have a wife and mom like Renee. We became much better friends after her stroke in high school. I really got to know her well, having classes together when she returned to school. Renee not only had to endure the stroke, but also the passing of her mother. She was so strong, being the oldest and was always there for whoever needed anything. She just amazed me everyday!!! Unfortunately, we drifted apart after high school/college and relocating after college. I tried to keep up with her life through my sister and my mom when we visited who still reside in La Crosse. All of Renee"s Love for her family and friends and also all the unbelievable, amazing accomplishments she achieved!! She always gave it everything she had andsucceeded even when obstacles got in her way!! And that great smile!! My heart goes out to each and everyone of you and will always be in my prayers

I was fortunate to work with Renee in a partnership between Mayo and the School District of La Crosse. She had a great passion for working with teenagers and their families.

I was so saddened to read of Renee's passing. I had no knowledge of her illness. I shared multiple cases with Renee over the years and she was truly a caring therapist. We didn't always agree but through our different perspectives, we had many good conversations and educated each other. We had a mutual respect in our professional careers but we never knew much about personal lives of each other. I am learning more now and realize that beyond professional connections, she left behind a loving family. Laura, I know you were close with Renee so this has to be terribly hard. I hope to see you again and give you a hug. I am thinking of Renee and the last time I saw her. Her family has my deepest sympathy.

I am very sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the bibles words found at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Soon God will destroy death, and resurrect our loved ones who have died to an earth where there is no more pain. Please accept my condolences at this time.
