So sorry to hear about Lori. I'm shocked and so sad to hear this. I check this website once and a while as I grew up in the Dorchester area. My parents were Ronald and Delores Rober. Lori was a very talented gal and I remember her helping out at the Dorchester lunchroom with me when Vivian Beneke was the cook there. She rode the school bus with me for all the school years, Dorchester and Waukon. She was a great piano player and played for the chorus in high school. She had many talents and I am sure that there will be a special place for her in heaven.

Lori - my dear friend - how I wish we'd seen more of each other the last few years. It was an honor being at your wedding and an honor being your friend for 49 years. How I loved your blonde hair, I loved your outgoing personality, your athleticism and your adventurous spirit. There is so much we did together from Kindergarten to 12th grade that I will cherish forever. I don't know if Ken and I would have met if it wasn't for you. Blessings to you Todd, and to Alan, Darlene, Jack, David and Gladys and the rest of the family. May God heal you in the coming days, weeks, months and years. Ken and I are thinking about you. Much love - Theresa & Ken
