To live in the hearts and minds of those we leave behind

Let us help get you started

Condolences for

Mary, I was honored to work with Bill at the "Fish Lab" on French Island from the time our family moved to La Crosse in July, 1979 until he retired. Bill and I had much in common since we were both Vietnam Nam era veterans as well as individuals dedicated to promoting and safe-guarding our nation's wildlife resources. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. With our deepest sympathies, Bill and Sherryl Gingerich

Mary, Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Bill was such a great guy! We will miss him. I have so many wonderful memories of Bill. I will never forget all the good times we had working together on the canvasback study at Agassiz NWR everything from nest searching, nightlighting, frisbee golf and of course the Rusty nail. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with him and great full for his help with my career! I will remember when you and Bill came up to the cabin and Bill and I went for a walk and flushed some wood ducks from a beaver pond on a beeeautifull fall day in the Northwoods. Very sorry that we were not able to make it to the services today. We will be thinking of you. Take care! Byron & Kelly

My condolence to Mary for her great loss. Bill and I attended grade school and high school together. He was a great guy; easy going and fun to be around. He will missed by our high school class for sure (and many more).

Terry and I remember Bill's cheerful smile and friendly wave when he walked past our house. We will miss him.

Our most fond memories of Bill are up north on Maple Lake. We were fishing, Mary pulled out a blue worm and Bill started teasing her about her choice of lures until… she pulled out a nice fish. How we laughed all day about that crazy blue worm. Bill appreciated and was a good custodian of wildlife. Bill was a good hearted person and will be missed. – Connie & Mike
