Our sympathies go out to the entire Ikert family. Ed and his family was one of the first people we met when we moved to Bangor. Shared many a laugh and few drinks watching the Sunday Packer games. He will be missed by many.

I would see Ed once or twice a week when he brought his grandson to a class. I appreciated his commitment to his family and his job! He was so up beat and thoughtful. He will be missed!! My sympathy and prayers to the family!!!

Eddie, Jordan, and Shane-- you know your Dad was a wonderful man. He loved each and all of you very much. He also was Ganga over his grandson. Many times when I was having a tough day, he would pop in and make me smile. He always called me "Honey", especially in front of the hubby. We all got a laugh out of it. So glad you decided to have services at school. I can't imagine having room any where else. He was loved by many, and will be sadly missed. Plan on coming for the service, but expecting so many people, I did not know if I would get to speak to you personally. A big hug to each of you. Always, Mrs. Kabat. PS. I gave your Dad your poetry book and and poem-sonnet. So if you come across them, it was my retirement gift to your Dad.
